Listing Prices, Currencies and Buying Links Explained

RepLooks EditorialOct 27, 20263 min read

Where the price on a product page comes from, how currency conversion works, and what you finally pay through a shopping agent.

Prices come from the seller's listing

Each product page shows the price on the seller's original listing, usually in Chinese yuan (CNY), and a converted amount in the currency you choose in the header. The yuan price is the seller's own price for the item; it does not include an agent's fees or shipping.

Sellers change prices, run discounts and adjust options. The spreadsheet records the listing price when the item is updated, so the live price at the seller can be higher or lower by the time you order.

How currency conversion works

Converted amounts use a reference exchange-rate snapshot. They show roughly what an item costs in your currency, but your bank, card or payment service applies its own rate and fees when you pay the agent. Treat the converted price as an estimate and check the final amount on the agent's checkout page.

You can switch currency at any time from the language and currency menu in the header. The original yuan price stays the same; only the displayed conversion changes.

What you actually pay

An order through a shopping agent usually has three parts:

  • The item price at the seller, plus the seller's domestic delivery to the agent's warehouse.
  • The agent's service fee, which depends on the agent and sometimes on your membership level there.
  • International shipping for your parcel, paid later when you send items home.

None of these are included in the listing price shown on RepLooks. The agent shows each of them before you pay. Our shipping guide explains how the shipping part is calculated.

A product page can show its source listing and links to supported shopping agents. The buying button opens the same item on the agent you choose, with the style and size you selected where the agent supports it. A missing agent link only means that agent is not available for this item on this site right now; it does not mean the item is unavailable everywhere.

Before you pay, confirm on the agent's page:

  • The item, its style and its size match what you selected.
  • The quantity and the price are correct.
  • The agent's fees and estimated shipping are acceptable.

Finding good value on the spreadsheet

Every list can be sorted by price, and filters let you set a price range. Sorting by most QC photos is a good way to find items other buyers have already ordered and checked. Browse items with QC photos or start from the full spreadsheet.
