Chanel Oversized Square Sunglasses with Twisted Metal Temples

Details

Oversized square sunglasses with thin metal rims, cut wide with softly rounded corners. A fine beaded edge runs around each lens, and the temples are twisted like rope, flattening where they meet the hinge. A small interlocking CC motif sits at the outer corner of the lens, and clear nose pads sit on slim metal arms. The bridge is a simple straight bar. Frame tones run from rose gold and yellow gold to silver and black, and the lenses are graded rather than flat: warm brown, soft pink, pale blue and deep blue-grey all appear. The lens edge stands slightly proud of the rim, keeping the shape crisp in profile. The black quilted pouch and box in the photographs are staging.
