A black suit jacket with the usual tailoring signals taken away: no lapels, no collar stand, just a clean V running down from the shoulders into straight front edges. The surface is a matte twill with a fine diagonal grain, cut with a slightly dropped shoulder and long plain sleeves, and the front shows no buttons in the photographs. On the upper back, four short white stitches sit in a loose square — the only mark on an otherwise unbroken black panel.
