Versace oversized octagonal sunglasses with gold Medusa medallions

Details

The front is a large, soft octagon: the top edge runs almost straight, the outer corners are cut at an angle, and the lower half swells before curving back. The rim is deep and bevelled inside. The bridge is moulded into the frame with a small arch beneath and no separate nose pads. A round gold-tone medallion sits where each temple meets the front, holding a relief head inside a Greek-key ring. The temples are flat and broad at the hinge, narrowing to an angled tip. Five versions are shown: black with smoke-grey lenses and black temples; translucent grey with grey gradient lenses; translucent burgundy with brown gradient lenses and pale grey temples; cream with smoke-grey lenses and black temples; translucent peach shading from pink to amber.
