QC photo guide: how to check your item before shipping
How to read QC photos: a practical checklist for colour, size tags, measurements, logos, stitching and defects before your order ships from the warehouse.
What QC photos are
QC (quality check) photos are pictures of your actual item taken at the shopping agent's warehouse before it ships. On RepLooks, QC photos from earlier orders are grouped by source and batch so you can see what the item has looked like in practice.
Browse products with QC photosCheck the basics first
• The item, style and colour match your order. • The size tag shows the size you chose. • The quantity is correct and nothing is missing.
Look at the details
• Logos and prints: position, spacing and alignment. • Stitching: straight lines, no loose threads or gaps. • Materials: texture and colour compared with the product photos. • Hardware: zips, buttons and buckles are complete and undamaged. • Stains, marks or damage anywhere on the item.
Measurements
If the platform measures the item, compare the measurements in centimetres with the size chart and with a piece you already own. A difference of a centimetre or two is common; larger differences are worth asking about.
If something looks wrong
Ask the platform for extra photos or measurements, or request an exchange or return while the item is still in the warehouse. Return options depend on the seller and the platform's rules.
What QC photos cannot tell you
QC photos help you compare an item with its listing. They do not prove authenticity or guarantee quality, and lighting can change how colours look.
