V-Neck Floral Jacquard Cardigan with Ribbed Trims

A V-neck cardigan worked in an allover jacquard of soft sage-green foliage shapes on a cream ground, the pattern running across the body, sleeves and back. The V opening is finished with a ribbed placket carrying a row of dark round buttons, and the cuffs and hem are wide ribs in solid sage that frame the motif. The knit has a brushed, slightly hairy surface, so the edges of the pattern look soft rather than drawn. It is cut with a relaxed body and dropped shoulders, and the ribbed hem sits at the hip.
