Celine square sunglasses with pierced gold hinge plaques

Details

A broad square front with rounded corners has a straight upper rim, slightly heavier than the sides. The bridge is moulded straight across, with a shallow notch beneath and no separate nose pads. Three small gold-tone dots are set into the rim at the outer top corner of each lens. Where each temple meets the front, a pierced gold-tone plaque carries the Celine name, with two more dots beside it. The temples are slim and turn down gently at the tip. The name is printed low on each lens, with a smaller etching near the top of the right one. Five versions are offered: black with smoke-grey lenses; tortoiseshell with rose-tinted lenses; translucent wine with brown gradient lenses; white with smoke-grey lenses; pale pink with rose lenses.
