Versace oversized square sunglasses with gold Medusa hinge medallions

Details

An oversized square front with a slightly raised brow has a deep rim; the bridge is moulded in with a shallow notch beneath and no nose pads. At each outer corner a round gold-tone medallion with a relief head sits between two vertical Greek-key bands. The temples are flat and broad, printed with a pale strip of repeating Greek-key motifs and the name, tapering to a slim tip. A faint wordmark is etched at the top of the right lens. Five versions: black frames with dark navy-grey lenses and black temples; black fronts fading to clear at the edges with blue-grey gradient lenses; brown translucent frames with lenses shading from violet to amber; black frames with grey-to-brown gradient lenses; and cream frames with dark navy lenses and cream temples.
